Medical effect: Vibramycin tablets are effective for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including following:

• Vibramycin tablets are the first-line regimen for cholera and typhus,
• skin infections, including acne and rosacea,
• respiratory tract infections,
• otolaryngological infections,
• chronic prostatitis,
• pelvic inflammatory disease,
• chlamydia infection,
• syphilis.

Contraindications and precautions: do not use for pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with liver disorder, difficulty in swallowing or poor general condition. Do not use for patients who cannot take enough nutrition orally or by meals.

Take these tablets with a full glass of water and avoid taking just before going to bed. If this medicine occasionally stays in esophagus for a long time, it may cause irritation or ulcer.

If an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking the medicine and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication or receiving any other treatment, you have to consult with your doctor before use.

Dosage and administration

On the first day, take 4 tablets (200 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day, or take 2 tablets (100 mg) at a time, 2 times a day. From the second day, take 2 tablets at a time, once a day.

The doctor in charge may adjust the dosage according to the disease, age, or symptoms.
