Medical effect: Lyrica OD tablets are effective for the treatment of following diseases and conditions:

• pain associated with diabetic neuropathy,
• post-herpetic neuralgia,
• central neuropathic pain,
• fibromyalgia,
• restless leg syndrome
• generalized anxiety disorder,
• partial epilepsy.

Contraindications and precautions: do not use in patients with renal dysfunction, congestive heart failure or a history of angioedema. Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Alcohol may intensify medical effects. As the medication can cause dizziness, avoid driving a car or operating dangerous machinery. If an allergic reaction, sign of obesity, double vision or blurred vision occurs, stop using the medication and consult with your doctor. Dosage and administration of Japanese Lyrica OD tablets 75 mg for neuropathic pain (Pregabalin) 

For neuropathic pain: start with taking 75 mg of the active ingredient 2 times a day as an initial dose. Then gradually increase the daily dosage up to 300 mg (the increasing should take a week or more). The consulting doctor may adjust the dosage according to the age or symptoms. However, the maximum daily dosage of 300 mg 2 times a day should not be exceeded.

For pain associated with fibromyalgia: start with taking 75 mg of the active ingredient 2 times a day as an initial dose. Then gradually increase the daily dosage up to 300 mg (the increasing should take a week or more). The maintenance dosage should amount to 300-450 mg a day. The consulting doctor may adjust the dosage according to the age or symptoms. However, the maximum daily dosage of 225 mg 2 times a day should not be exceeded.

How effective are Lyrica OD tablets 75 mg from Japan for neuropathic pain (Pregabalin)?

Each Lyrica OD tablet contains 75 mg of pregabalin, a gabapentinoid that works by inhibiting certain calcium channels. Pregabalin suppresses release of excitatory neurotransmitters such as glutamic acid in the central nervous system and, by this, tranquilizes over-excited nerves and relieves pain. Lyrica OD tablets have a high oral bioavailability (90% or more) that is not affected by any food.

Who should use Lyrica OD tablets 75 mg from Japan?

Japanese Lyrica OD tablets are effective against pain associated with diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia, and central neuropathic pain, against fibromyalgia and restless leg syndrome. Studies also shoed that pregabalin is effective for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder: it reduces psychosomatic anxiety symptoms, improves sleep and does not develop tolerance (A.
