Medical effect: Naixan tablets are effective for reducing pain and inflammation in following diseases and conditions:

• rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis,
• for gout attack Naixan tablets are considered to be one of the most effective painkillers,
• ankylosing spondylitis,
• lower back pain,
• periarthritis scapulohumeralis,
• neck/shoulder and arm syndrome,
• tendinitis/tenosynovitis,
• dysmenorrhoea,
• herpes zoster,
• recovery after trauma or surgery,
• after tooth extraction or oral small surgery.

Contraindications and precautions: do not use for pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with peptic ulcer, blood abnormality, liver disorder, renal disorder, cardiac dysfunction, hypertension, aspirin asthma or its history.

If an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking the medicine and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication or receiving any other treatment, you have to consult with your doctor before use.

Dosage and administration

For gout attack: take the initial dose of 4-6 tablets (400 to 600 mg of the active ingredient). Then take 3-6 tablets a day, dividing into 2-3 doses.

For patients after trauma or surgery or patients needing long-term treatment: take the initial dose of 3 tablets. Then take 3-6 tablets a day, dividing into 2-3 doses.

For other indications: take 3-6 tablets a day, dividing into 2-3 doses.

Avoid taking this medicine on an empty stomach, whenever possible. The doctor in charge may adjust the dosage according to the disease, age, or symptoms.

How effective are Naixan tablets 100 mg from Japan for pain and inflammation (painkiller, Naproxen, Aleve)?

Naixan tablets contain naproxen, a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug. It works by inhibiting synthesis of prostaglandins and lysosomal enzymes. Naixan tablets start to work slowly, within one hour, but their works last up to twelve hours, making them rather suitable for the longer treatment. Naproxen does not cause addiction or tolerance during the course of treatment.
