Dosage and administration of Japanese Takepron OD tablets 30 mg for Helicobacter pylori       

For adults, take 1 tablet 2 times a day for the period of 7 days. Also, this medicine must be combined together with at least two different antibiotics for the all period of treatment.

The medicine can be taken with water as usual or moistened with saliva on the tongue, then lightly squashed with the tongue, and swallowed with saliva.

Takepron OD tablets work by elevating pH in the stomach via inhibition of the proton pump in the gastric mucosa. They significantly enhance the antimicrobial activity of antimicrobial drugs in order to kill bacteria Helicobacter pylori. Studies also show that lansoprazole improves heartburn symptoms, symptoms of postprandial fullness, dyspepsia and reflux symptoms (Y. Kinoshita, H. Miwa et al. 1. gastric ulcer/duodenal ulcer,
2. gastric MALT lymphoma,
3. idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura,
4. gastroesophageal reflux disease
5. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Also, Lansoprazole Takepron OD tablets are used in endoscopic therapy for early gastric cancer.
