Contraindications and precautions: do not use for pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with a history of angioedema. Do not use for patients receiving apheresis or on hemodialysis.

Dosage and administration

For patients with severe hypertension or renal disorder, the starting dose may be decreased to1 tablet (5 mg) at a time, once a day. For children 6 years old or over, take 0.07 mg of active ingredient per kilogram of the body weight at a time, once a day. However, the maximum daily dose is 4 tablets (20 mg).

For chronic heart failure: for adults, take 1-2 tablets (5-10 mg) at a time, once a day. For patients with renal disorder, the starting dose may be decrease up to 0.5 tablet (2.5 mg) at a time, once a day.

Lisinopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor. It works by suppressing production of angiotensin II, a peptide hormone that constricts blood vessels. This medicine features the following properties:
