Medical effect: Riluzole tablets blocks TTX-sensitive sodium channels and inhibit the kainate and NMDA receptors. They delay the beginning of ventilator-dependence or tracheostomy and may increase survival by two to three months.

Contraindications and precautions:

Riluzole tablets cannot be used for the following categories of patients:

• patients with liver diseases,
• patients with kidney diseases,
• patients with infections and/or having high body temperature,
• pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Take 1 tablet 2 times a day, at morning and evening, after the meal. Don’t drive the vehicles or operate the machines while taking this medicine.
