Dosage and administration of Japanese Luteolin 10 mg for reducing uric acid level      

Take 1 capsule a day with water, better before meal. Do not exceed the dosage.

How effective are Japanese Luteolin 10 mg for reducing uric acid level?

Each capsule contains 10 mg of luteolin, flavone found in some plants. Luteolin capsules use only luteolin manufactured from yellow chrysanthemum flowers grown in Japan. Studies showed that 4-week course of luteolin before ingestion of a high purine base test meal significantly reduces the serum uric acid level in patients with mild hyperuricemia (M. Hirano, S. Who should use Luteolin 10 mg from Japan?

Luteolin capsules are designed for male patients with uric acid level from 5.5 mg/dl to 7.0 mg/dl. While luteolin might not be capable to treat the gout, it definitely possesses the ability to prevent the gout. There are very few contraindications for using luteolin in male patients, the main one is possible allergic reaction due to the natural origin of the active ingredient. However, Luteolin capsules are not designed for use in female patients, while the luteolin in the right dosage won’t make any harm to female body, the medical effect cannot be guaranteed.
