Medical effect: Gasmotin tablets are effective for the treatment of heartburn, nausea and vomiting caused by chronic gastritis and adjunctive treatment to the pretreatment with orally gastrointestinal lavage solution for barium enema X-ray examination.
Contraindications and precautions: do not use for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Dosage and administration
- For the treatment of heartburn, nausea and vomiting associated with chronic gastritis: for adults, take 1 tablet (5 mg of active ingredient), 3 times a day, before or after meal.
- For the adjunctive treatment to the pretreatment with orally gastrointestinal lavage solution for barium enema X-ray examination: for adults, take 4 tablets (20 mg of active ingredient) with the orally gastrointestinal lavage solution (approximately 180 ml) at the time of administration of the lavage solution, and take 4 tablets with a small amount of water after administration of the lavage solution.

Gasmotin tablets contain mosapride, a gastroprokinetic agent and a selective 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 4 agonist. It works by stimulating serotonin receptor in the digestive tract and increasing acetylcholine release. By this, Gasmotin tablets improve functions of enterokinesis and gastric emptying.
