Contraindications and precautions: do not use for the following categories of patients:

1. pregnant and breastfeeding women.
2. patients with hepatic disorder,
3. patients with renal disorder,
4. patients with narrow-angle glaucoma.

As this medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness, be careful when driving a car or operating dangerous mechanisms.

Avoid drinking alcohol or taking any food or supplement containing hypericum perforatum (St. John's wort), while taking this medicine.

If an allergic reaction or any unusual behavior (panic attacks, insomnia etc.) occurs, stop taking the medicine and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication, please consult with your doctor before use.

Dosage and administration of Cymbalta capsules 30 mg from Japan for depression and depressive states (duloxetine hydrochloride)

For adults, start taking 20 mg of active ingredient once a day after breakfast as an initial dose. After taking it daily for one week or more, the dosage may be increased to 40 mg daily. If after taking 40 mg daily for one week or more, the effect is insufficient, the dosage can be increased up to 60 mg daily.

Please note that this medicine contains 30 mg of active ingredient per capsule.

How effective are Japanese Cymbalta capsules 30 mg for depression and depressive states (duloxetine hydrochloride)?

Cymbalta capsules contain duloxetine hydrochloride, a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. It inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and noradrenaline in brain and makes intracerebral neurotransmission smooth. By this, Cymbalta capsules alleviate depressive mood and improve such symptoms as loss of motivation and anxiety. Despite of that, Cymbalta capsules do not affect dopaminergic, adrenergic, cholinergic, histaminergic, opioid, glutamate, and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors.

Who should take Cymbalta capsules from Japan?

Cymbalta capsules are used for the treatment of major depressive disorder, general anxiety disorder and related disorders. In some countries, duloxetine is also approved for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, chronic muscle or joint pain (such as low back pain and osteoarthritis pain) and fibromyalgia. Studies concluded, that due to its efficacy in preventing or delaying relapse in responders among patients with general anxiety disorder, duloxetine is indicated as an effective first-line treatment option for the management of this disease (N.
