• However, the maximum daily dose of 1 tablet (16 mg) should not be exceeded.

Calblock tablets contain azelnidipine, a dihydropyridine L and T calcium channel blocker. It works by blocking calcium inflow into cells and consequently dilating constricted vessels to decrease blood pressure. Calblock tablets have a gradual onset and a long-lasting hypotensive effect, with little increase in heart rate.
