The following symptoms were observed in less then 2% of cases in medical studies: Pain, redness, swelling, burning sensation and distention at the injection site. In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur. In such cases stop using medicine, carefully examine the patient and provide appropriate treatment.
Adant's influence on the ability to drive vehicles and other occupations associated with other potentially dangerous activities requiring increased attention concentration and psychomotor speed has not been specified so there are no special precautions on these points.
Adant Dispo: Method of Application and Precautions.
Adults are recommended to undergo intra-articular administration of adanta dispo 1 time per week for 5 weeks without stop. Adant dispo should be inserted into the inter-articular gap of the knee joint, shoulder joint (inter-articular gap of the shoulder joint, pidacromial bag), trapezoid carpal joint, or affected synovial joint.
In case of using medicine on trapezoid-carpal joint, two methods of administering are recommended, depending on the degree of osteoarthritis: the lateral external pathway (I degree rhizoarthrosis) and the application between the fingers at the site of the first commissure (II and III rhizoarthrosis). The decision to use one method or another is made in each individual case by doctor. In all cases, the dose should be adjusted in accordance with the severity of the disease.
When using Adant Dispo from Japan for intra-articular administration, follow these requirements: since Adant is introduced into the inter-articular space, the treatment should be performed under exclusively sterile conditions. If there is no sign of improvement during the first 5 weeks of use, treatment should be discontinued. If there is even a slight decrease in the content of synovial fluid, a puncture of the joint should be made. Use caution in order to avoid the introduction of the drug into the blood vessels. Avoid contact with eyes.
If the Adant is frozen, allow it to get warm (at least room temperature) before using it. Apply the syringe only once and immediately after opening. Avoid contact with disinfectants such as ammonium salts (including benzalkonium chloride or chlorhexidine), as a precipitate may form.
