Medical effect: MAF capsules are effective for activating the macrophages and enhancing the immunity.

Contraindications and precautions: if an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking the medicine and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication or receiving any other treatment, you have to consult with your doctor before use.

Store away from direct sunlight, well-sealed, in a cool, dry place or in the refrigerator.

Be sure to consume enough vitamin D3 while taking this medicine. The minimal daily dosage should be 5000 IU either the blood level of between 70-100 ng/ml (175-250 nmol/l) should be maintained during the course of treatment. After treatment a level of 50-70 ng/ml (125-175 nmol/l) should be maintained. Vitamin D should preferably be taken with a fat containing meal.

Dosage and administration

For adults: capsules can be taken in two ways. Consult with your doctor about the preferred method.

1. Take the capsules with water, on an empty stomach, twice a day. Take 1-3 capsules in the morning, 30 minutes before food, and 1-3 capsules before bed with at least 2 hours after the food.

2. Take the capsules sublingually by opening the capsule and mixing its content with saliva. Hold the medicine for 30 seconds in the mouth, then swallow the remaining. Avoid eating or drinking soon after taking the medicine, as it may interfere with the medicine’s absorption.

For children: the dosage and the method of administration should be prescribed by pediatrician in charge.

How effective are MAF capsules from Japan for activation of macrophages (immunity)?

MAF capsules contains GcMAF derivered from the milk whey via sterilization with the 0.22 μm filtration system. GcMAF is a protein-derived macrophage activating factor naturally occurring in the human body, mainly in liver. It works by activating the macrophage cells, a type of white blood cell of the immune system that defend the host against infection and injury, including cancer cells, microbes, cellular debris, foreign substances, etc. Activating the macrophages is used as an additional therapy in the treatment of various types of cancer, including breast, colon and prostate cancer (N.
