Medical effect: Zolmitriptan tablets are effective for the treatment of migarine attacks.
Contraindications and precautions: do not use for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Do not administer to individuals with a prior history of heart attack, stroke, or transient cerebral ischemic episodes. Additionally, refrain from using this medication in patients with ischemic heart disease or any associated symptoms, variant angina (coronary vasospasm), peripheral vascular disorders, or hypertension.
- If you experience no relief after the initial dose, refrain from increasing the dosage. Instead, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider.
- This medication is not intended for migraine prevention; it should only be used at the onset of a migraine attack.
- Due to the potential for drowsiness, patients are advised to avoid activities such as driving, operating heavy machinery, or working at elevated heights while taking this medication.
If an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking the medicine and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication, please consult with your doctor before use.
Dosage and administration
For adults, it is recommended to take one tablet containing 2.5 mg of the active ingredient after the onset of a migraine attack. If an additional dose is required, ensure that at least 2 hours have passed since the last dose. Your physician may consider increasing the dosage to two tablets, totaling 5 mg, for future migraine attacks. Nevertheless, the maximum daily dosage of four tablets, equivalent to 10 mg, should never be exceeded under any circumstances.
This medication can be taken with or without water. If you opt to take it without water, first moisten the tablet with saliva on your tongue, gently press it with your tongue, and then swallow it with saliva.
It is important to note that this medication should only be used after the onset of a migraine headache. It should not be taken as a preventive measure for migraines.

No suppliers will operate this week so changes in shipping time / price / product availability are possible. Product may become unavailable as well.
Please pay attention: orders paid after Dec 15th may be shipped after Jan 6th because Japan Post and courier services will not operate during Holidays. If you pay before we are 99% likely to ship before holidays. If you pay after make sure you can wait as delays are possible due to end of year holidays. Some suppliers stop working before Dec 26th, please pay attention!
