Medical effect: Zetia tablets are effective for the treatment of the following diseases and conditions:

• hypercholesterolemia,

• non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Contraindications and precautions: do not use in patients with hepatic disorder or diabetes. Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Dosage and administration of Japanese Zetia tablets 10 mg for lowering cholesterol level 

For adults, take 1 tablet 1 time a day, after meal.

Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption and vegetal sterol inhibitor that acts on NPC1L1 protein, the cholesterol transport protein in the gastrointestinal tract epithelial cells and in the hepatocytes. That’s why Zetia tablets effectively block the absorption of cholesterol from the small intestine and reduce the amount of cholesterol available to liver cells.
