Dosage and administration of Tadalafil tablets 20 mg from Japan for erectile dysfunction (Cialis, Zalutia)

Usual case: for adults, take 10 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day about 1 hour before sexual activity. The dosage may be increased to 20 mg at a time in case the effect is insufficient but tolerated. The next dose should be taken at least 24 hours apart.

Patients with mild-to-moderate liver disorder: for adults, take 10 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day about 1 hour before sexual activity. This is the maximum dose. The next dose should be taken at least 24 hours apart.

Patients with moderate renal disorder: for adults, start with taking 5 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day about 1 hour before sexual activity. The next dose should be taken at least 24 hours apart. The dose may be increased to 10 mg, but it is the maximum dose. In this case, the next dose should be taken at least 48 hours apart.

Patients with severe renal disorder: for adults, take 5 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day about 1 hour before sexual activity. This is the maximum dose. The next dose should be taken at least 24 hours apart.

Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor. It works by increasing blood flow via the synthesis of cyclic guanosine monophosphate in smooth muscle cells.
