How effective are Ifenprodil tartrate tablets 20 mg from Japan for dizziness (cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage)?
Ifenprodil tartrate is an atypical noncompetitive antagonist at the N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor. It works by blocking sympathetic α receptor and relaxing vascular smooth muscle. As the result, Ifenprodil tartrate tablets increase cerebral blood flow.
Who should take Ifenprodil tartrate tablets 20 mg from Japan?
Ifenprodile tartrate tablets are effective for the treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral infarction sequela or cerebral hemorrhage sequela. Studies showed that this medicine produces an enhancement of responsiveness of neuron activities in the vestibular nuclei (I. Matsuoka, J. Ito et al. “Experimental vestibular pharmacology: a minireview with special reference to neuroactive substances and antivertigo drugs”. Acta-Oto-Laryngologica Supplementum, 1984; 419:62-70). Also, Ifenprodil tartrate tablets increase cerebral metabolism by enhancing mitochondrial respiratory function and inhibit platelet aggregation.
