How effective are Gabexate mesilate vials 100 mg from Japan for pancreatitis and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)?
Gabexate mesilate is a synthetic protease inhibitor. It works by inhibiting both coagulation and cytokine production by monocytes. As the result, Gabexate mesilate ampoules improve organ disorders and bleeding tendencies caused by blood clots in blood vessels and relieve such symptoms as pain caused by inflammation of the pancreas.
Who should take Gabexate mesilate ampoules 100 mg from Japan?
Gabexate mesilate ampoules are effective for the treatment of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) and various forms of pancreatitis, including acute pancreatitis associated with protease deviation, acute exacerbation of chronic recurrent pancreatitis and postoperative acute pancreatitis. Studies showed that treatment with gabexate mesilate significantly reduces the incidence of complications requiring surgery and of complications in general in patients with acute pancreatitis (A. Messori, , R. Rampazzo et al. “Effectiveness of gabexate mesilate in acute pancreatitis. A metaanalysis”. Digestive Diseases and Sciences, 1995, 40(4): 734-738).
