Medical effect: Diclofenac sodium ophthalmic solution is effective for the prevention of post-surgical inflammation and complications during and after cataract surgery.
Contraindications and precautions: do not use for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use for patients with contact lenses.
Before use, store below 10 degrees Celsius, away from direct sunlight. After opening, store at room temperature (1 to 30 degrees Celsius) away from direct sunlight and use within 4 weeks. It also can be stored in refrigerator.
If an allergic reaction occurs, stop using the medicine and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication or receiving any other treatment, you have to consult with your doctor before use.
Dosage and administration
- Before eye surgery: apply 1 drop at a time, 4 times (3 hours, 2 hours, 1 hour, and 30 minutes) before the surgery.
- After eye surgery: apply 3 times a day.
- Wash your hands with soap and water thoroughly before use.
- Do not touch the eye or eyelashes with the dropper tip while applying.
- After applying, close your eyes for 1-5 minutes, pressing the inner corner of your eyes.
- If you need to use other eye drops at the same time, wait more than 5 minutes before the application.
