How effective are Japanese Cepharanthin tablets 1 mg for alopecia?
Cepharanthin or cepharanthine is an alkaloid derivated from herbaceous perennial vines of Stephania genus. It provides the following effects:
- promotes recovery of hematopoietic function,
- dilates peripheral vessels,
- relieves peripheral circulatory disturbance,
- improves nutritional supply in hair root,
- inhibits histamine release and shows antiallergic effect.
Also, cepharanthine scavenges free radicals and has a protective effect against some of the responses mediated by pro-inflammatory cytokines.
Who should take Cepharanthin tablets 1 mg from Japan?
Studies showed that cepharanthine is effective for treatments of various diseases, including idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, venomous snakebites, xerostomia, sarcoidosis, refractory anemia, HIV and various cancer-related conditions (M. Rogosnitzky, R. Danks. "Therapeutic potential of the biscoclaurine alkaloid, cepharanthine, for a range of clinical conditions" Pharmacological Reports. 2011, 63 (2): 337–47). However, Japanese scientists emphasize this medication’s effectiveness in the treatment of various hair loss conditions, for example, alopecia areata or alopecia pityrodes, and radiation-induced leukopenia. Cepharanthine is effective against various forms of alopecia, including common, atopic, pre-hypertensive and combined. It cures the condition within 2 months in 57% of patients and within 6 months in 86% of patients with common alopecia areata when given as a monotherapy. And it boosts up the effectiveness of other medications for alopecia like kallidinogenase, making them effective up to the 90% of patients within three months of therapy.
