Medical effect: Aspirin tablets are effective for the prevention of thrombus and embolus formation in patients with angina, myocardial infarction, and cerebral infarction.
Contraindications and precautions: do not use for the following categories of patients:
- Patients within 12 weeks from expected delivery date should not take Aspirin tablets,
- Patients with peptic ulcer (gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer),
- Patients with bleeding tendency or blood abnormality,
- Patients with an aspirin-induced asthma or history of it,
- Patient who are planning to have a surgery or dental extraction.
Pregnant and breastfeeding should consult with their doctor before use, in general, taking aspirin is not recommended.
If an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking the medicine and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication or receiving any other treatment, you have to consult with your doctor before use.
Do not take this drug with alcohol as this combination may induce or worsen gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
Dosage and administration
For adults, take one tablet once daily (100 mg of the active ingredient). However, the daily dose may be increased by doctor in charge up to 3 tablets (300 mg of the active ingredient) according to symptoms.
Swallow down the medicine without cracking, crunching or grinding unless otherwise instructed. Do not take these tablets on an empty stomach.
