Dosage and administration of Japanese Zolpidem tartrate OD tablets 5 mg for insomnia (Ambien)
For adults, take 1 to 2 tablets (5 to 10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, just before bedtime. Elderly patients should start with 1 tablet (5 mg) at a time as the initial dosage, then increase it if needed. The consulting doctor may adjust the dosage according to age and symptoms. However, the maximum daily dose of 2 tablets (10 mg) should not be exceeded.
