Medical effect: Neuer capsules are effective for treatment of the following diseases and conditions:

• gastric mucosal lesion (erosion, bleeding, redness and edema) in acute gastritis,
• acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis,
• gastric ulcer,
• prevention of gastric mucosal blood flow decrease in patients with Helicobacter pylori.

Neuer capsules contain cetraxate hydrochloride, a p-hydroxyphenyl-propionic ester of tranexamic acid. It works by improving gastric mucosal microcirculation, indirectly stimulating capsaicin-sensitive afferent nerves and increasing mucosal blood flow. Neuer capsules act on both cytoprotection and suppressive action on aggressive factor, and consequently improve gastric mucosal lesion.
