Medical effect: Neuer capsules are effective for treatment of the following diseases and conditions:
- gastric mucosal lesion (erosion, bleeding, redness and edema) in acute gastritis,
- acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis,
- gastric ulcer,
- prevention of gastric mucosal blood flow decrease in patients with Helicobacter pylori.
Contraindications and precautions: do not for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Dosage and administration of Neuer capsules 200 mg from Japan for gastritis and gastric ulcer (cetraxate hydrochloride)
For adults, take 1 capsule (200 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3-4 times a day, after meal and before bedtime.

Neuer capsules contain cetraxate hydrochloride, a p-hydroxyphenyl-propionic ester of tranexamic acid. It works by improving gastric mucosal microcirculation, indirectly stimulating capsaicin-sensitive afferent nerves and increasing mucosal blood flow. Neuer capsules act on both cytoprotection and suppressive action on aggressive factor, and consequently improve gastric mucosal lesion.

Neuer capsules are effective for the treatment of gastric mucosal lesion in acute gastritis, acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis and gastric ulcer. Also, this medicine is used for the prevention of gastric mucosal blood flow decrease in patients with Helicobacter pylori. Studies showed that 12 weeks of treatment with cetraxate hydrochloride alone provide cure for 73% of patients with gastric ulcer (A. Ishimori, S. Yamagata, T.
