Gammalon is a certified medicine containing gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in high concentration. This amino acid plays an important role in human brain as neurotransmitter. Lack of GABA within the body is dangerous, especially in children as it’s connected with various developmental disorders.

But if you think that a healthy child doesn’t have any problems with GABA lever, you might be terribly wrong. Clinical studies proved that low GABA level is associated with risky behavior in the immature adolescent brain (Marisa M. Silveri, Jennifer T. That means that even healthy child might tend to take risky behavior and get in trouble just because of the lack of GABA level.

While the market is full of different supplements with lower GABA concentration, gamma-aminobutyric acid is effective for treating developmental disorders when taken enough. For instance, in treatment of epilepsy in children the concentration of 40-80 mg per 1 kg of weight is considered effective (L. Gram,  A. Sabers, O.
