Medical effect: Enarmon Depot intramuscular injections are effective for the treatment of the following diseases and conditions:

• male gonadal dysfunction,
• men's infertility due to sperm dysfunction,
• aplastic anemia,
• myelofibrosis,
• renal anemia.

Contraindications and precautions: do not use for children, pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding women. Use with caution in elderly patients. Do not use in patients with androgen-dependent malignancies (e.g. prostate cancer). Do not use for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, cancer bone metastasis, renal disease or a history of it, heart disease or a history of it

If an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking the medicine and consult with your doctor. If you’re taking any other medication or receiving any other treatment, you have to consult with your doctor before use.

Do not make injection in exactly the same place continuously, slightly change the place of injecting the needle.

Dosage and administration of Enarmon Depot intramuscular injections 125 mg from Japan for increasing testosterone level (androgen therapy, Delatestryl, Xyosted)

1. For male hypogonadism: for adults, 100 mg of active ingredient is injected intramuscularly every 7 to 10 days, or 250 mg of testosterone is injected intramuscularly every 2 to 4 weeks. The dose may be adjusted by doctor in charge according to the patient's age and symptoms.
2. For male infertility due to sperm dysfunction: for adults, 50-250 mg of active ingredient is injected intramuscularly every 2 to 4 weeks until azoospermia occurs. The dose may be adjusted by doctor in charge according to the patient's age and symptoms.
3. For aplastic anemia, myelofibrosis, renal anemia: for adults, 100 to 250 mg of active ingredient is injected intramuscularly every 1 to 2 weeks. The dose may be adjusted by doctor in charge according to the patient's age and symptoms.

Enarmon Depot injections contain testosterone enanthate, one of the most widely used testosterone esters used in medicine since 1954. It works as a prodrug of testosterone, an agonist of the androgen receptor and anabolic–androgenic steroid. When used in a depot injection, testosterone enanthate has an elimination half-life of 4.5 days and a mean residence time of 8.5 days. This allows Enarmon Depot injections to be used once in 7 days or even less.

Mancini et al. “Testosterone undecanoate and testosterone enanthate injections are both effective and safe in transmen over 5 years of administration”.
